Jake's Pizza

Could be crispier but wasn’t too bad! Wasn’t close to a 6 but easily a 5.6 🤷🏽‍♂️

I recently tried Blacksheep in the cities and tried jakes once again.. this place has half decent sauce. But the bottom dosent get any crisp. Very doughy! Very heavy. I picked up the slice and everything just slid off. I remember this place being better when I was a child. But it seems like it gets worse and worse. If you want a pizza in Albert lea is exists. But after trying the real deal in the cities it’s just crap. This is more of a failed attempt at a pizza casserole if that even exists..

We had half cheese and half pepperoni. It was very good, the crust was thin and crisp on the outside. The middle wasn’t as crispy because of the amount of cheese. But overall it was very good. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Best pizza in Albert Lea

This is extremely cheesy pizza. Using slices of mozzarella instead of shreds, it adds up to a heavy slice. It also keeps the crust from getting completely cooked through. A good, homemade, longtime tradition for A.L., though, and I give it kudos for doing their own thing for so long.
