Considering this is a chain I wasn’t expecting much but they’re known for their Detroit style and I like Detroit style so I decided to give them a try. When I opened the box I was surprised. It looked really good. I could tell they were using real mozzarella and not that filler filled mozzarella that most chains use. I took a bite and was disappointed because this pizza comes so close to being great. The cheese and dough are great but the sauce is lacking in flavor. If they just threw some Peccerino Romano and Oregano in the sauce then this would easily be a high 7s pizza.
