Found Joe De’s on social media. Like others, I was drawn to their place for the New Haven style pizza. I’ll have to admit, this was the first time I tried something advertised as this style, but I was not disappointed. The pizza was absolutely great. Well done, the perfect amount of char, not greasy and you could taste the quality of the ingredients. They didn’t skimp on the garlic, which I love. When picking up the pizza, the place was very clean and I was greeted immediately by friendly staff. I mentioned that we were going to eat in the car and was offered plates and napkins to accommodate. They were floored that I drove about 40 mins to give them a try and their appreciation was definitely felt. Their pride in their product, and the quality of the pizza, will not make me hesitate to make the drive again. Looking forward to trying more of the menu and keep up the great work!
