Disappointment started at first sight here. But I thought to myself it’s gotta taste better than it looks…. Couldn’t be any more incorrect. Everything fell off the slice like sludge when I picked it up to have my first bite. Was left with slop in a box before I could even have a taste. From there on the disappointment just continued. The pizza itself had a putrid smell as if there was a rotting corpse along with it in the oven. Don’t even get me started on the taste. A disgrace to Brooklyn for getting tagged along in the name of this establishment, and honestly a shame to pizza itself. An undercooked floppy mess. It’s not often that I don’t finish a slice, but this might be the first time I’ve taken two bites and chalked it up. Straight disappointment outta Joe and whatever terrorists were involved in this abysmal creation. Top 2 worst things in the pizza game right behind buffalopizzaguy… fuck you. Dork.

The pizza was a bit undercooked for me and there was an excess of flour on the under side that left a chalky aftertaste. I ordered a large with pepperoni and 8 wings "special". The wings were undersized but cooked decent. Needed more sauce. No value here as my total was over $40. Could be decent with a few changes and improvements.

Damnnnn boiiiiii!!! I love this place. They had like 12 different specialty pizzas with all sorts of wild topping like Ghost Pepper Pulled Pork and a white pizza with black garlic, 2 different Sicilian style pizzas, and basically everything else you can think of. Crispy, Crunchy, slightly floured bottom, dough was great. The sauce on the Old Fashioned slice, blew my dick right off that’s how good it was. The cheese slice was great too. Perfect amount of cheese in my opinion. Not overly greasy or salty. It also wasn’t like rubber. It was smooth and tasty with a little bit of funk. Maybe som Redggiano mixed in there? Idk. Either way, great pizzeria with loads of options, priced decent, clean inside, prompt service.

From a former citizen of Brooklyn I found this to be really good pizza. No flop. Very good crisp. Cheese was excellent. Loses .5 for the level of grease. My RIT son wanted to try authentic New York pizza and Joe’s did not disappoint.

The beer crust is amazing. This pie this time had no flop, excellent crisp, and great flavor. Great all around pie. Would travel for this one. On a side note the wings are really good and I suggest those as well.

We drive 20 miles at least twice a month for our favorite slices. Joes Brooklyn does classic NY style pizza better than anyone in the local area.
