Joe's NY Pizza

The people trashing on this place are Arizona natives who don’t know good pizza, period. If you want legit New York slices, this is the only place you’ll find them in AZ. Joe’s NY serves up thin slices with excellent dough and crust. Toppings are plentiful and there’s lots of delicious flavor in each bite. This place hits the spot whether you’re sober or totally wasted. My only criticism is that the slices could be more crispy. P.S., they have the cleanest water out of any pizza joint in the Valley. Any true pizza affiliando knows that the best water makes the best pie.

Hits the NY pizza style. Thin, good crunch, barely any sauce. Super greasy. This is a late night boozed up spot or a last resort. Not terrible but it’ll work

Paying $40 for food that went right into the trash and I HATE to waste food. The dough, the sauce all tasted stale and bland. You could tell the pizza was cooked in disgustingly dirty pan. The taste was so repulsive I threw the whole Sicilian pizza away. The garlic knots tasted like old stale dough and they were sitting in oil and burnt garlic. The marinara sauce had no flavor and incredibly watered down. Whether it’s staff that doesn’t care or this is just the standard. You couldn’t pay me to eat this or even feed it to my dog! Rating this a 1.1 and that’s a generous score

Would only recommend if you’re wasted and there’s no other options. Rather have a Jack’s pizza honestly.

I don’t much remember this pie, but I consumed it sometime after 1am last night. I do remember the crust had puncture marks from one of those terrible spiked rollers. That’s typically a sign of garbage pizza, more specifically garbage dough. In this case, the za was a little better than garbage. I would never go out of my way for this pie, but may stumble in for another sloppy slice one night.

EXTRA greasy. Crust slightly undercooked. Won’t order again.
