OK, here we are on a gorgeous Tuesday in January. Unfortunately I had to come out to Holbrook for a wake. And I figured I’d get a pizza review in. And this place looks really good. It’s a pizzeria and a restaurant. Called Joe’s. Here since 1978. I do have high hopes for it. Let’s go. Very good pizza. Nice and crispy, zero flop, well-made. Definitely not in the sixes as some people said. Now the crazy part is, it is a tad bland. Just a tad. Otherwise it’s really good.

It's an 8.1 when you ask for the cheese pie well done. It is mid 7's if you don't get the cheese pie well done. Super friendly workers and they have great heroes, specialty pies with a nice seating area inside.

Solid slice, fresh ingredients, good undercarriage. Very little sauce, however. Also pictured is an upside down slice (7.1). All in all, well worth a try; gorgeous restaurant as they recently expanded, and great people.

Needs more time in oven. Zero crisp and spongy. Good cheese and sauce saved the score. But if this was thinned out and had some crisp, it would be a game changer. I like thin and crispy as my pizza preference.
