No line. Good pizza

Great pizza. Then thin, a little overcooked underneath, and no quite enough sauce and cheese. Great crisp though.

Standing room only in this bih. The slice was molten lava, for a moment thought I was sent back in time to the formation of the Earth’s crust. Speaking of, crust was superb, everything else about it was just fine. You could suffer a season ending mouth injury on this slice if you’re not careful.

Where’s Joe, tell him I said thanks.

Queue looks big but goes down fast, worth lining up for!

Best slice in NYC. It’s best when they’re not super busy and they flash the slice in the oven. Tried the Sicilian, NY slice is way better.

Had to try the 3 Classic styles (Cheese, Pepperoni, Works) Great crust, great flavours and delicious toppings. As for my review it is specific to the cheese pizza. Great pizza.

This Greenwich Village institution left much to be desired as far as being a go to place for pizza. Despite its reputation in New York’s pizza scene, the slice fell short of expectations. The crust was disappointingly soft lacking the crispness and structure expected from a classic New York slice. The cheese and sauce distribution was uneven, detracting from the overall balance of flavors and was somewhat too oily for this pizza aficionado. While Joe’s Pizza may have historical significance (and Spiderman nostalgic), the quality of the slice I experienced did not live up to its reputation, suggesting it may be overrated in today’s competitive pizza landscape.

This is the NY slice standard, it’s utilitarian and what everyone should review NY pizzas against.
