Pizza Review
Alright Frankie’ we are ‘back’ at Joes Pizzeria at 51 McMurchy Ave in Brampton Ontario (review time Jan 28th 1pm)... it’s January -> it’s cold -> it’s Canada and we came all the way ‘back’ out here because the last time we were out here ?? Joe wasn’t ready for us and we went inside and Joe was not answering us —> and we had to leave that day —> and therefore today we came all the way back out here —> (we’re not gonna deduct points from Joe for that)—> Joe’s working hard and we applaud him for his continued support for the community by serving these amazing pies —> Joes Pizzeria was established in 1967, and is one of the oldest Pizzerias in brampton and locally known as an iconic pizza joint in Brampton. He is located just outside of the downtown core and we came here (again) —> Joes Pizzeria —> one bite everyone knows the rules-> Sauce has kick to it ... after taste is spicy -> with Joes Pizzeria being ‘also’ a spaghetti house? it leaves us to wonder what does their spaghetti sauce taste like? Because we have a feeling that they are using their spaghetti sauce on their pizza here? This sauce definitely has a kick —> and it is very good and definitely made in house—> undercarriage has perfect char —> it has major (major) flop ... (some would call it greasy cheesy bread meets Pizza Hut pizza Frankie -we wouldn’t - some would - We wouldn’t)... where ‘Little Caesars Pizza’ is beyond cardboard (just awful) THEY did perfect one thing! They perfected the cheesy bread! —> Yes Joe’s crust was the perfect cheesy bread style .... and HE is on that fine line —- between Chicago style and Pizza Hut -> but obviously with this much description you obviously know the crust -> (though perfect cheesy bread) —> it did not have crisp and to be fair -> it was doughy —> we follow the rules / bite it / score it -> 1 thru 10 -> here we go ~> all wrapped into one ! 6.9 (professional score) Joes Pizzeria -> amazing, little greasy, deep dish style, hard working people, no crisp but cooked perfectly—> joe brought the pizza out to the car himself —> it was so good —> last time we had a pizza this good was at ? 8 mile Detroit Style Pizza in Toronto —> oh -> that-> pizza was better than Joe’s (don’t get us wrong) we had to give it a 6.4 -> because 8mile Detroit Style used these little tiny tomatoes that they put on top of the pizza ——> THAT were different than the sauce they used on their pizza —-> and the contrast was too noticeable and we had to deduct a FULL point for that—> remember Frankie ? !!!! 8 mile Detroit Pizza would’ve come in at a 7.4 Frankie!!!! BUT we ended up having to give it a 6.4 !!! 8 mile Pizza is better than Joe’s Pizza by 8 miles (little humour there) -> but yeah —> 8mile Pizza -> needs to work out their Tomato and sauce contrast where Joe’s Pizzeria here is a solid 6.9—> no contrast in taste at Joe’s —> or a score that needs to be explained in the future like 8 mile does —> like ???? —> why did you give 8 mile Detroit Style Pizza in Toronto a 6.4 where it should’ve been a 7.4???? .... ANSWER: we were forced to DEDUCT a FULL point from 8mile Pizza -> for that -> but that was not the CASE here with Joes Pizzeria -> Joes Pizzeria got a solid 6.9–> we will be back and we stand by our score —> it is surprisingly good ... solid 6.9–> that’s a sexual number (knowing this is a kids show—> going with it nonetheless ) and of course you know —> Joe’s getting a high score for a reason—> It’s really good pie -> especially on a cold day -> borderline fork and knife pie as el’Presidente would call it -> 6.9 that’s a review!
