For the fact that Johns is the highly rated it disappointed. The middle was slightly soggy. Towards the edge the crunch became more prevalent. It did not have the crunch a NY Pizza usually has i.e Joes, Ceres…. It might have been a inconsistency due to the oven. But for that fact alone it cannot be called the best pizza of the city.

Tasty sauce, great cheese and the crust had a nice stretch. Had a bit too much flop. Could have been a high 8 with a little more time in the oven.

I had high hopes with all the hype but I have to be truthful. They must of has a off day when I went. Looking at Dave's review that was 💯 not the pizza we got. I have opened pizza restaurant's I understand dough. My pizza had flop and was not crunchy. With all the high reviews on here I know something was off. I look forward to going back.

It was pretty good. The cheese quality was great. The sauce had a twang, and the crust was good. I wish the bottom had a little crisp to it.

My top pizza. We had this when we were visiting Manhattan to see Billy Joel and this was a must stop. They let us check out the coal fired oven which you could feel the heat from across the restaurant

Crust is perfect. Cheese is good. Sauce is a bit sour. We also got a cherry pepper meatball pie and that was better but the crust couldn't hold the weight of the toppings.

Almost perfect pizza! Very crispy, sauce had a good tang to it. Cheese was melted perfectly. Def a go to spot when in NY. Feels like it wouldn’t travel that well but the eat in was perfect.
