The gold standard. The founder’s solid gold. Best pie I’ve had in almost 6 years working in the city... while keeping an eye out for the best pie. A lifelong fan of all Joes pizzas everywhere It came to a point where a John needed to know what John’s pizza was about. Large pie, great sauce, perfect cheese, toasty crust. A touch overdone for my colleague this was on my wavelength. Pizza shone was the money slice, probably a 9.7, but the rest averaged this out just right. If you love NY pizza, come to John’s of Bleecker for a great coal fired. They might just run this Manhattan Pizza Game.
