Tasty but definitely overrated

Strong pizza. Good sauce and cheese -nostalgic properties reminiscent of childhood bowling alley times. Ate the pizza with some goons, I’m sensing some judgment? Can’t tell. Great pie good times.

Had to take out the gum and chew on this light and airy pie. A fast moving line took us straight for a cheese forward delight.

Pizza had good flavor, but was soggy and the undercarriage was very light. Dave's 9.3 is way too high. Quality ingredients, just not cooked properly!

Consistently one of the best NYC pizzas. We had the Jimmy Gambino with Sausage, ricotta, basil and green pepper. A little too much stuff for my liking but still awesome.

I was told by a mate that if I was in NY, then John's is a must. He was 100% correct. World-class pizza

Very thin, buttery crust. Thick concentrated sauce. Amazing.

Excellent. Perfect char. Worth its legendary status.i understand why it is a Portnoy favorite. Good tomato to cheese ratio and a chewier crust than the New Haven coal oven pies….. must be the water. I’ll be back.
