The photo is of the pie of the week, which was a French onion pie. It was house made onion jam with fresh mozzarella topped with New York State cheddar. We also ordered a plain pie because they’re plain pies always solid. However, we had to get this pie the week, because it’s been a year since I think they’ve had it on the menu last time. I don’t know we had it there last time and it was unbelievably good so much. We told him it should be on the menu all the time. they said stay tuned and hopefully it’ll come back as a week again, and this is the first time we’ve seen it since then so we took the trip to grab it.

Almost didn’t get it because the place apparently ran out of onion jam and they told us they were sold out. We let them know we’ve been waiting for this pie for over a year, and we drove from Jersey to get it, even commented on their Instagram post that we will see you Thursday for this pizza and somehow they scrape the bottom of the jar and got enough onion jam to make one last pizza for us!

The pizza on the menu is a little pricey. It’s in the $22 range I think? I guess it’s worth it. I don’t know I like thinking $20 and under is adequate, but this place has an old-school vibe and we just enjoy a couple times a year!
