Kate & Al's Pizza

Great mato pie. Crust is chewy and very crunchy. Cheese is layered perfectly. Sauce is nice and tangy. Solid za. Would recommend; first mato pie in the area though

Pete’s is trash, Kate’s is a special pie. When it’s fresh and hot with a little crushed pepper, it’s a tasty slice.

It hits different

Got a pie with extra cheese. Was looking at the slices going out of the joint and I figured I needed extra cheese on there. Even if they put the sauce on top, I want extra cheese. I’m glad I got the extra cheese, I couldn’t eat this pie without the extra cheese. Anyway, about the pizza. This is the most overrated pizza I’ve ever had. People swear by its pie, but I don’t get it. I think it’s based more on nostalgia than anything else. The dough was the best part, is cooked in a pan. It wasn’t crispy, but that’s OK. The dough was light and fluffy and had a great taste to it. But that’s the only thing you taste. The sauce was absolutely flavorless, the cheese, the texture let me know. I was eating cheese, but there was zero taste cheese. This was the most flavorless pie I’ve ever had. if you were in this area and you’re at the Columbus farmers market and the Amish places, go there and eat. If you’re there on a Sunday in the Amish people aren’t there and you want pizza then fine, I don’t think there’s anything else around. But this pizza is not as good as anyone will have you to believe.

Lots of sauce however it’s a little bland. Overall pretty good.

Another solid slice. The price is right. It’s cheesey, fluffy, crunchy. Wish the sauce had more of a memorable taste but that’s personal preference. Thinner dough of the 2 pizza places at the market

Childhood favorite

Sicilian style pizza, very sauce-y and crispy edges. A childhood favorite!

Worth the trip. Super fresh and delicious.

Waited about 10 minutes for a fresh out of the oven slice. Tangy fresh tomato tasting sauce , good amount of cheese , crisp crust with a soft light interior to the crust. Tastes nearly identical to Pete’s also in the market. Can’t go wrong with either place. Unique style.

What can I say about the Columbus Farmer’s Market? It is filled with some very fine people. Some of the best people around. It may be the most MAGA area of South Jersey. Dare I say, “Ultra Maga?” Kate and Al’s Pizza has a long pizza tradition here in New Jersey’s heartland. Much like the makeup of this great country, this rectangular slice is a melting pot of sauce and cheese. And in the shadow of Fort Dix and McGuire Air Force Base you’ll find a melting pot at the market itself. Here you can find our fine Airmen and Soldiers eating pizza alongside our honored Veterans, Policemen, Fireman and farmers. Here you can boost our economy by buying everything from comic books to gutter caps to tacos. Some of the best tacos around are found right down from Kate and Al’s. My relationship with Hispanics is incredible. Always has been. Indeed this pizza has tang. Much like the Tang our great astronauts took to space - where we will go again if I’m re-elected as your pizza President. Perhaps I’ll even assign as Space Force unit nearby. What you need to do now is pick up a slice or two of Kate and Al’s and get our economy moving. Buy new gutters. Perhaps some new leather gear. The Army Navy Store has a great selection of fatigues, boots and other gear to peacefully and patriotically eat your pizza in. Just great, seriously, I should know.

I went Kate and Al’s multiple times over the years, but have not been back in at least 5 years. It’s weird, I remember this pizza being better, but it’s still really good. 7.9 it is for this Thanksgiving day breakfast.

Delicious sauce and cheese. The crust is perfectly cooked, crispy, and has a good texture. Has an off kinda taste to the crust, cant put my finger on it but the crust wasnt good all by itself.

Good pizza but not my style. I like a more traditional style pizza and a little thinner. I would recommend going to try them and eat the pizza within 20 minutes. This place is usually a long wait.

Good hot slices crispy crust and a nice tangy sweet sauce. Good hard cheese on top to go with the thinner sauce. I love me some upside down and the Columbus flea market is a great place to find it!!

As usual, outstanding. The sauce here is so ridiculously good, and there's tons of it. This is destination pizza. Go there, walk a lap at the Mart, and finish here. You won't be disappointed.

Easily my favorite pizza place ever. Perfect amount of cheese, crispy crust, and a ton sweet sauce. There's nothing better.

Consistently and deliciously the same since I was little. Different then your average slice but so freaking good!
