Ken's Artisan Pizza

I really wanted to love this pizza and even had it twice before rating. It’s very solid and I like it but don’t love it. The bread and ingredients seem to be high quality. A lot of flop, which is not necessarily a bad thing for me. Pretty thin and also this pie was a bit greasy (usually not a great combo). This place is very hyped up and often thought to have the best pizza in Portland but honestly I wouldn’t give it the crown, although it’s still very good pizza.

Very good slice. The sauce is very tangy and delicious. Worth driving and waiting for.

Ranked third in the US, not! Soft thin artisan pizza, the wait made it worse. Dimo’s and Apizza Scholls much better!

Amazing! Flavorful toppings, zesty sauce and wood fired crust! Tastes great!! Only thing that could’ve been better is a touch longer in the oven.

Great slice. Crispy, minor flop, amazing undercarriage, worth the drive! Very thin, very light slice.

Solid pizza. Cooked really well and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Nice and thin with a grate undercarriage and grate crust.

6.4 at best. No crisp, toppings/cheese wouldn’t stay on and I honestly just wasn’t impressed. Apizza Scholls smokes this place.

Amazing pizza. This is the New Yorker with pepperoni added, which is a must. Very cheesy with a semi-sweet sauce. ZERO FLOP. Perfectly cooked with a chewy yet crispy crust. Dave would approve

This is the New Yorker, a nice hybrid of that city and Naples’ styles. Wonderful, toothsome crust, as expected from a master baker. Sauce could be a bit more interesting, but wonderful pie.

great pizza! based on other score in the area I put it at a 9 and think this is a great spot for good pizza and perhaps a date.

One of the best Neapolitans that I have had. Bonus points for serving coarse salt alongside the chili flakes. Never seen that before and love the ability to season to taste.

Super unique type of pizza. Super thin with good crisp undercarriage and crust. The basil on the margarita was great and it had an olive oil type flavor to it. Highly recommend trying it out!

Portnoys really started an addiction. From March till July 2nd (today) my brother and I have tried over 30 pizza places in Oregon. Mostly margherita or cheese if not available. As of today Kens is number one, tangy sauce, crispy cracker crust, delicate light cheese and perfectly cooked! Must try if you ever make it out west!

This is fancy pizza for upity white people, not for the people who know pizza. Not impressed!

Margherita pizza. Structural integrity is wonderful. Very little flop. Crispy but not crunchy. Sauce has great flavor and cheese is tasty. All in all a very quality Za.
