Very solid bar pie

Can’t believe this has 7.4. Clearly a bar pie strong hold on the Mount Rushmore of bar pies in NJ. The snausage was outrageous.

This is some really good bar style pizza. We got a bunch of flavors regular cheese, vodka slice, chicken vodka and sausage and peppers. The plain vodka slice really stood out. Packed with flavor combined with the thin crust and cheese. Delicious. Cheese was good on its own and the thinness of it just adds to the combo of cheese sauce and crust flavor that you get. Definitely repeatable.

This pizza was pretty good. If you like thin crust, you’ll love this place. The crust was super thin and crispy, there was a little flop but nothing crazy. The cheese and sauce were good too. A good, solid pizza overall.

I grew up with this as a regular pizza spot near me. I'm definitely biased, but this is a standard delicious bar pie. The place has been around for 85 years and it's cash only and it's got all the right old school dive bar vibes. It has a little bit of flap so it could definitely improve the undercarriage a little bit, but sometimes the flop is just due due to the weight of the tasty toppings. They do buffalo chicken very well because they mix the buffalo sauce into their regular sauce and then use it as the sauce for the pizza. So it gives a really balanced flavor. The Buffalo also has really crunchy celery at a proper ratio. This is my first review so I'm going to use the kinchley's seven as my benchmark for other pies. Honestly, I think it could get more than a seven, but I don't want to pigeonhole myself by not giving myself enough runway on the north side to find better pizza in the future.

Amazing lunch New Haven Style

This bar pie is way overrated. The crust is crunchy good, cheese is good but don’t care for this tangy sauce at all. Disappointed.

Crust was fantastic! Awesome service! Even better pizza with crispy, hot, and melty cheese that was extremely savory. Come on down if you’re in NJ!

Great crisp, nice tang. Fabulous atmosphere and cash only. I'm honestly not the biggest bar pie guy, but this was a very good pie (half plain and half mushroom/home made meatball).

Very solid pizza. Nice and crispy, great sauce. The pies and slices are super small, I could’ve killed two pies of this stuff. Not a superstar, but a very good pizza especially for up north.

Got a plain pie, and a vodka pie. Cheese pie was an 8.9, vodka pie was a 9.1. Overall, 9.0

Good crunch on crust, but toppings were overbearing and stole the show from a solid crust and tangy sauce. Some slices fell apart with weight of toppings.
