The most popular national chain pizza in the US out of the Big 4.
I personally think it’s probably the best of the Big 4, especially if you customize your order right. Though if we’re talking about the best of the Top 10 biggest national chain pizza places, I think Chuck E. Cheese is better than those.
Other than that, what can I say? On my rating scale from worst things you can call “pizza” (0.0-1.0) at your school lunch to the worst frozen pizza (1.0-2.0 range), hello Celeste and Elio, this isn’t that much better than any of the decent big name frozen pizzas.
My complaint with Domino’s is how cheesy and undersauced the pizza is. Not that the quality of either is good but the pizza is not particularly flavorful outside of the saltiness and butteriness of crust—too much of either by the way.
Construction-wise it’s a bready, mediumly thick slice relative to thin pizza standards, they cook it medium well, fairly greasy, cardboard stiff, with a sauce that tastes fake garlick, like what your got when BJ’s sold breadsticks.
Anyway, I’m going on way too long here. You’ve had this pizza before at a kids party or with buddies when someone wanted food from *somewhere* late night.
Anyone rating this pizza seriously and comparing it as better to almost any (except Four Brothers) local joint up here is out of their mind if they’re scoring this higher.
