The 1st thing I will say is I am not a rookie at eating pizza and I have been almost everywhere in Philadelphia and this has to be the best pizza I have ever had up till now. This was an amazing pie and I was told that they have been in business for 46 years and can’t believe it took this long to find this place. The downside is they only accept cash so had to go to atm but it was so worth it. They only sell pizza and only have beef sausage and beef pepperoni as toppings so I got both. Unless I hear that a new place has just opened and has crazy good pizza I will only be a loyal customer of the king of pizza. My search is over

I’m with the last reviewer on this one. The vibe of this place was absolutely dope. 2 old Italian guys just living their passion, No bullshit. Cash only. They literally ONLY serve pizza - plain or with beef. I really wanted to rate this an 8 based on principal alone. Unfortunately, the slice itself fell a little short for me. It’s an absolute great fest for sure. Philly flop x100. The slide actually broke in half, it’s so thin. The cheese and sauce are sweet, by far the best part of the pie. The crust leaves something to be desired and was burnt on the bottom. This place deserves business, just based on principal alone. It’s a 7.1 from me. That’s a review

I really liked the vibe walking in here. A bunch of old-school Italians behind the counter, grinding away making pies. When I saw the slice...I thought we could have an all-time gem...but it fell short. Paper thin slice, pretty greasy, and a seriously strong flop. They didn’t have plates...which is a violation. Cheese was solid...but too light on the sauce. Crust was just OK. I was disappointed because it looked incredible.
