Krispy Pizza- Brooklyn, NY

As always, prefacing that the review is on the cheese only. Solid slice but nothing crazy, Dave was about right. Flopped more than they claimed, taste was good, greasy, pretty standard above average slice. The specialties however were the hits of the evening. The tri color did not dissapoint, the pepperoni/hot honey square hit, and the 13th Ave circle slice was better than the cheese. Overall worth the trip to hit an iconic online spot, but the speshs were the stars of the show.

Great regular slice. Nice crunch although expected it to be more crunchy at the tip and the middle. Nice flavour on the sauce and the pecorino hits nicely. Also tried the trio and that was even better. The sauces on that complimented the thickness perfectly. I’d give the regular cheese an 8.5 and the trio a 9.1, averaged out at 8.8

Had a little flop at the tip. Liked the square more than cheese, it had more crisp and the other sauces tasted great. The star was the pinwheel imo, just all the flavor and texture was great

The regular slice is whatever…. The square slices are amazing!

The trio is amazing, but the plain cheese (which is what I am rating) is trash.

Everything was very good. The pinwheels looked incredible.

Plain cheese: soupy and unbelievable flop. 7.4. Plain cheese with ricotta: soupy and unbeatable flop but better taste. 7.7. Square three flavor special: exceptional. 9.8. Pick your jaw up off the floor Franky, it’s a 9.8. Average score: 8.3.

Plain slice was pretty good, Palermo and Hot honey slices were great. Sicilian slices overall were all just great. Vibes and quality of all slices bring the score up.

Wanted to love it - based on the slogan and entertaining YouTube shorts. The Palermo, spicy vodka, and sweet ricotta were great, but this review is about the cheese. Unfortunately, after ordering a whole pie and then giving them a 2nd chance with a single slice, there was simply no crisp. The flop was unacceptable - for any pizza place but especially one named “Krispy.”

Being from upstate I’m a huge fan of their videos. Great to see the actual guys there. Definitely a perfectly made pie.

If regular pizza is not your thing then Krispy will not disappoint. Can be super busy and chaotic at times but they live up to the hype.
