La Pizza

This is as good as it gets for “east coast” style pizza in the greater St. Louis area. That being said when the bar is set just above the floor the score is never in danger of approaching more than a “good” score. Cooked well, nice and crisp, but the sauce and dough are distinctly lacking flavor, and as a result are largely uninteresting. Cheese was good, and quantity was good also. Overall the pizza just lacks flavor, it’s largely the same complaint I’ve had with other places like Pizza Head, but to a lesser degree. If you are looking for the best “east coast” style pizza, or as I call it… pizza in stl this is it, but as of the time of this review that’s not glowing praise unfortunately.
