La Pizza Italia

Crispy crust with some char so it was cooked well. Not too thick or thin. But the cheese slice had bland sauce. And the basil buffalo mozzarella was too sweet. The balance was off. Best combo was the cheese pizza with some of the sauce from the other slice. I always wonder how our best pizza slices in LA stack up and was expecting a lot more out of NYC but appreciate the late night eats option. Wouldn't seek it out but could eat again. They have a lot of other slices and next time I'd try the grandma with vodka sauce.
