Laventina's Big Cheese Pizza

When it comes to pizza, I like a New York style pizza, not a Chicago style pizza so this place if perfect. "one bite everyone knows the rules" The pizza looked really good but unfortunately it wasn't. I ordered two slices and both of them were a floppy mess. The crust was soft, a little chewy and truth be told I did not eat my second slice. The sauce is really not very good. It was thick in some places, it actually almost tasted like it came out of a can. It reminded me of a can of tomato paste! Lot's of cheese and truthfully the pepperoni was really good. I found myself picking off the pepperoni and eating each and every piece. The service was actually really good. We parked right in front, hoped out of the truck and placed our order. Again, the staff was great, the service was great but unfortunately I didn't really care for the pizza and I'm not sure I will be back anytime soon. So sorry but for me it's a 6.0! This pizza was super disappointing!!

Honestly really disappointed… not cooked enough and tasted like cheap dough. Much better options in the area. No crisp and very basic.

This pizza was kind of meh...the crust is kinda tasteless... sauce didn't stand out and the cheese was low quality too... pepperoni was greasy... I should have just ordered dominos

The place has been around forever and has a decent local following. If you live in Newport you know Laventina’s. It’s good stumble home from the bar pizza, something to pick up at 2am. The crust is very thin and has a lot of flop. We asked for onions on top, each slice had its own onion, so many onions. Cheese was thick but with the ultra thin crust it came off as you pulled the slices apart. Prices are decent.

Good amount of cheese and sauce is good. Just wish the crust was more thin. Overall this pizza is good for any party or if you want something decent late at night

Remarkably basic. There is nothing original about this. You could find this pizza any where at anytime.

The pizza is never too greasy. The crust keeps its form and the topping are always great! The sauce and cheese have great flavor as well!

Tastes and smells like a higher quality pizza hut no disrespect. Good flavor. Very little flop and not bad on the grease. I prefer more airy, crispy crust but I enjoyed this pizza. 7.1 that’s a review.

Your classic late night pizza. It definitely gets a lot worse. It’s a good pizza. Floppy. Thick cheese. Dough is a tad bland. Solid late night pizza though. One of the few places open late on the peninsula. Nothing to bring home to mama.
