A solid New York-style slice with a sauce that really stands out. The crust is definitely on the thinner side and has a decent amount of flop for a slice this size. I personally would have preferred a little more thickness, but the flavor makes up for it. The cheese-to-sauce ratio is well balanced, and the sauce is what separates this slice from the rest. As of now, this is my top pizza choice in Emerald Isle.

The best pizza in Carteret County hands down. If you don't mind a light grease or flop, you'll love this pizza. It has a fair amount of sauce with a really good classic taste. It's crispy if you eat it hot. The price beats its competitors.

This was a good pie. Great service. Had a little chat around the crust and a lot of flop. We ordered a medium and should have ordered a small, it was a big pie. There was a lot of grease which lowered the score. Good flavor for the total score. If there wasn’t so much flop and grease, easy 7.9 I would eat again.

I’m not Dave Portnoy so my likes are different. There’s flop, which is okay with me. The sauce is good but could be a little sweeter. I like the dough, it’s crispy and a little burnt. Again, that’s okay because I like that. Cheese is quality and no grease whatsoever. There’s a lot to like here. We ordered delivery and it was perfect when it came to the door. I rated Michelangelo’s higher but that was based off my first experience. My second experience wasn’t nearly as good but hey, one bite... I really liked this and will come back.

Good flavor and in defense of Lazzara’s they were swamped. I just wanted some crunch and got more soggy/chewy. I’ll try again when it’s not an hour wait.
