Lefty's Chicago Pizzeria

Chicago style slice had a cracker type crust that I was new to and I liked it. Delicious sauce that was seasoned well with some stretchy cheese. Overall great slice.

Being from Detroit I have traveled to Chicago many times for some pizza. Peaquods being one of my all time favorite spots. This place misses the mark for me. Sauce was good, a little sweet, good flavor overall but your sauce to cheese ratio is insane. As you can see from my photo the only thing deep dish about this was the side crust, weirdly tall but the pizza itself wasn’t very deep. And that leaves me to the worst part, the undercarriage was rock hard. Just no play in that crust at all. Maybe I just got a bad cook on it, I’ll give them another whirl one day.

I got a deep dish spinach mushroom it was good

-Margarita pizza -Pizza sauce is sweet -Garlic and basil is very tasty -Chicago style pizza with 2 inch depth of crust. - Mozzarella cheese has tons of taste

Best deep dish pizza in San Diego, haven’t found another place that comes close.

Sauce is made of fresh tomatoes, it might be the best thing about this pizza. Cheesy. No flop. Crust is a little thick on the edges. They got good dogs baskets too (8.1).

Crust is crispy yet soft inside, you can tell the sauce is house made. Exceptional Chicago style for being in Cali

Not a big deep dish fan, but it is alright. The sauce needs to be better and a little better cheese.

Tangy sauce. Crisp crust. Awesome pizza!

Chicago style pie. Sauce had great flavor, crust baked to perfection, good cheese. Fills you up.
