Pizza Review
I arrived a few minutes after 1 (opening), first customer of the day. I had the pleasure of talking to Steve the owner and pizza artist. We discussed Dave’s recent visit and how that will make a very busy place off the charts busy. PER STEVE’s REQUEST: ONLY CASH, CALL AHEAD, OR EXPECT A 2+ HOUR WAIT!!! Great place, tremendous history, Steve and I discussed the oven, how Little Rendesvous is different than New Haven coal pies. I got the sausage which I reccomend— they have been getting from same source forever . Crust had a unique chew to it, cheese well cooked, I like the cornmeal on the bottom. Worth the trip….. but better if u can get there before the big Portnoy review is posted !
