Got a baby slice from the Marra Forni wood fired ovens, you can see the whole pies here. They look just like the original location.
They were the second biggest disappointment for the night for me after Santillo's and it was almost entirely due to the crust. I didn't like how dry and flaky it was, like a store bought (not fresh) pita.
It's really its own thing, which I respect, but didn't like. It's lacking sauce too, to the point that it's tough to evaluate the taste and consistency was.
Obviously, fresh mozzarella and parmigiana and microgreen, basil were on here. And that quality cheesiness tips the score higher in my book.
I'm mostly scoring this higher than I would out of respect for it's uniqueness.
