Pizza Review
Solid pizza, little soupy when It came out hot and fresh. Good bite to the crust despite flop. Overall decent slice.
Pizza Review
First, thank you Mr. Dave Portnoy for visiting Luigi’s Pizza on Wednesday, November 27th. Having you at our family restaurant was a dream come true, and we’ve been waiting for this opportunity for over a decade. We deeply appreciate you taking the time to try our pizza. Unfortunately, there was a monumental mistake made before your visit. Our brick ovens were set correctly in the morning by me at 10 AM but were inadvertently turned down to 475 degrees at 11 AM by the pizza maker — far below the proper temperature of 575 degrees. When I returned to the restaurant at 1:30 PM after picking up supplies, I realized this mistake and heard from the staff I had missed you by mere minutes. This affected the quality and taste of our pizza, and it didn’t reflect the product we’ve been proudly serving for nearly 43 years. While we understand that your review is based on the pizza you tasted, we humbly ask for another chance to show you the real Luigi’s Pizza. We don’t know what your score will be, but we do know that the pizza you had last week wasn’t a true representation of the quality we’ve been perfecting over generations. We would be honored if you would consider coming back for another review and give us an opportunity for redemption. We want to serve you a pizza that’s been cooked at the proper temperature. Thank you again for your time and for the work you do in celebrating small businesses across the country. We hope to see you again soon. Frank Pioppi Owner, Luigi’s Pizza
