Mama Venezia Pizza

After a string of extremely expensive spots, this one is probably the cheapest ive seen in a while. 2 sicilian and a regular came out to $9.75 One of the few instances where i genuinely enjoyed the regular slice more than the sicilian. Thin, crispy, great ratio, amazing cheese pull. The regular id hit with a 7.7 But my review is on the sicilian. Slices here are extremely heavy/dense. The under had a nice crunch to it, dough had that nice fluff with chew. Entirely too much sauce and cheese though. The cheese actually over powered the slice. The sauce was solid, a little on the salty side, but solid flavor. For the price, well worth it. If im in the area again, ill def stop in for the regular slice.

Margherita slice - 7.8. Could have been an 8.0 if the sauce had a dash more salt. Neapolitan slice - 6.8. This one was too salty and had too high of a cheese to sauce ratio. Sicilian slice - 4.0. I can't recommend this one. The dough was raw underneath the cheese. Flavor wasn't there either. Avg: 6.2

Stopped here on a beautiful day. Liked the spot, staff seemed friendly, surprised how many people were just stopping in and sitting down for lunch… they seemed like regulars. Had a nice vibe.. and I absolutely love that old looking sign, hence the pic. The garlic knot was BURSTING with garlic flavor.. liked that… so many times it’s not garlicky enough, know what I mean? If you’re coming here, I’d get a specialty slice or toppings. The regular was just ok even thought I really wanted to like it more. Wasn’t impressed with the sauce or the cheese on the regular.. next time I’ll try a specialty. And there will be a next time, because they seemed nice. That counts. Ay oh.

Came out super hot. Burned the top of my mouth because I can’t wait 10 seconds. Super crispy with no flop but a lot of cheese and slightly greasy. I would come back if I was in the area for a quick slice. Nice staff too.

The crust is crispy. Cheese is very oily. If you can tell from the pic, the cheese and sauce have created a liquid layer that causes the cheese to slide off when you pick the pizza up. Not a lot of flop...deff best quality of this slice is the crust. If you’re a crust captain than this may be the slice for you.
