Marcello's Coal Fired Restaurant & Pizza

For coal fired pizza, this place definitely holds its own. We tried three different pies, caprese, shroom, and tomato pie(not in picture). All three had great flavor and just on appearance alone; you can tell that Marcellos takes pride in their craft as they use fresh ingredients, including housemade mozzerella. A slight flop when approaching the middle of the pie, but overall, the quality of the pizza outshines this small downside. The restaurant itself offers a cozy atmosphere where new meets old with the ability to support any occasion: date night, father-son late night meal, celebration event, or in our case, a break in a four hour drive from Maryland. This app is for pizza reviews, but it is worth mentioning that Marcellos other menu items, including appetizers, pastas, and specialty entrees, add delicious diversity for those seeking more than just pizza. Marcellos is definitely worth a 30-45 minute drive.
