Mario's Pizza

Score is for the plain slice, looks great, smells great and a great crunch but absolutely no flavor. Grandma slice was decent but too much parm on topi would give the grandma a 7.4.

Very good football pizza. Visually, Very good looking pie. When it’s hot, it’s oily from the cheese I believe, and cheese is super stretchy, that’s awesome. If you let it settle a bit, the grease lessons as the top tightens up. I’d have to guess whole milk grande cheese from Wisconsin. The best of the best. I feel it has Great flavor. The ratio of cheese to sauce is spot on. Will definitely be back. One of the better pizzas in the Jim Thorpe area. It approaches an 8, what kept it away is the cheese had a tendency to want to pull off the slice in a big giant piece when super hot. But, that’s being picky. Very good pie!

I don’t even know what to say. Honestly we were really quite excited because it smelled good inside the joint, the staff seemed real cool and the slices looked great! Unfortunately the pizza was disappointing. The look of it was great! Whomever made it definitely knew what they were doing because the pie was stretched perfectly, no high or low spots in the slice and the crust was absolutely uniform! Almost no flop👍🏽. You could fold it or eat it open. The rest…meaning flavor was an extreme letdown. The cheese tasted bland and oily to the point that it coated the roof of your mouth with a layer of film. The sauce was flat and boring. More like thickened, red water. It was edible for sure so if you’re in the area and you have to eat something have at it! But it’s no destination spot at all!!

Decent looking pie overall. Specifically ordered “NO” oregano or spices. Came with loads of oregano. A bit greasy and not too crispy in the middle. A shame the instructions were not followed. I have to rate it middle of the road

Crunchy crust. Nice bite to the sauce. Good flavor
