Mario's Pizza

I don’t even know what to say. Honestly we were really quite excited because it smelled good inside the joint, the staff seemed real cool and the slices looked great! Unfortunately the pizza was disappointing. The look of it was great! Whomever made it definitely knew what they were doing because the pie was stretched perfectly, no high or low spots in the slice and the crust was absolutely uniform! Almost no flop👍🏽. You could fold it or eat it open. The rest…meaning flavor was an extreme letdown. The cheese tasted bland and oily to the point that it coated the roof of your mouth with a layer of film. The sauce was flat and boring. More like thickened, red water. It was edible for sure so if you’re in the area and you have to eat something have at it! But it’s no destination spot at all!!
