Massa Roman Square Pizza & Italian Specialties

Probably one of the more unique pizzas in the area, don’t see too many other Roman style but this was really good. While a bit more pricy than others the pizza is big. I’ve come here a couple of times and they are a bit more generous with toppings than most places which i love.

To start I have to say that Roman style pizza is one of my favorites. The pizza in Rome was the best I’ve ever had anywhere and this is very similar in style. While I enjoyed the pizza very much, I find it hard to review and score. It gets extra points for being good Roman style pizza but I found the thickness of the pie to be vastly different from slice to slice. The first one was perfect thickness. The next one was too thick and heavy. In the end it all tasted great and highly recommend if you can afford to pay the high prices. It IS worth it. I ordered the Margherita and would like to return to try some of the individual slices. So high marks for style and taste. Not as good as pizza in Rome but a very good 8+

Usually not my style but it is definitely different; noticeably authentic Roman square style. Has airy fluff to the bread and not as thick as a Detroit so easy to hose down a half a pie to the noggin.

Best pizza for miles and miles. No contest!

First time having Roman style. Excellent. Tried a few different toppings, they are all pre-made but all really good. Also tried their pre-made round pie. All of it was flavorful and interesting. Only complaint is that they don’t heat it up very long so everything was luke warm.

Roman Pizza Is just amazing. Little to no flop. Pizza is just great. Nuff Said

We were 3.5 hours away from home and had to pull up the app when we were hungry. We failed by being 15 minutes late to pick up the pizza. It was still crunchy and delicious. I highly recommend ordering here!

Place was very busy probably due to Dave’s review but definitely disappointed not worth the hype. I think the barstool score went to the owners head, I’d say it’s an above average slice but nothing to travel more than 20 minutes for.

really nice fresh mozzarella, and a really fluffy light bread but almost no sauce! it could’ve been in the mid to high 8s if i didn’t only have a few bites with sauce on them.

Delicious speciality slices, all Roman square style which I've never had before. Deep flavors and authentically Italian. Highly recommend the Crimini! Dave needs to get here.

Fresh out of the oven, this Roman style Margherita square is a winner. Light and crispy base, much like focaccia bread, with fresh clean tasting sauce and cheese. Yum!

Margarita pizza. Lacked alittle flavor, but the ingredients and quality did a decent job of making up for it. Another high quality pizza. Good cheese, and great dough, but does need some basil to liven it up. Not greasy at all, taste light, fresh, and crispy.

This pizza is really good. To describe it would be to say somewhere between a Sicilian and a grandma buy more towards the grandma pie slice. Crispy and airy. Very nice flavor. I do feel that they are over priced. Two slices of pizza closes and on close to $10. And depending on the slices you get you could be over $10 for two slices. It’s not as if the slices are humongous to be worth the price. If the slices were a dollar to $1.50 less this would be a five star location.

You find the best food where you least expect it. Wish I lived closer.

Having been to Rome, it’s definitely authentic roman style pizza. Nice for a change of pace, wish there was a little more flavor.
