I got the Salame calabrese pizza. Great crust and lots of flavor. The gelato is also fantastic.

Fire roasted, perfectly chewy crust, light tomato sauce, EVOO drizzle, it was excellent. Undercarriage was great, slightly burned but to be expected with the oven they use. Flop was 6.5/10. Would have liked more basil, but will ask for it next time as we will surely be back.

Amazing variety of toppings. Cheese to sauce ratio is perfect.

Loved this pizza. The sauce had great flavor. A little too floppy but overall it was a really solid pie and would go back.

This is the margarita style pie. Flavor-wise, this is fantastic with some quality ingredients used. It has an awesome crust and the thinness is everything. Only real downsides are some major flop to it and comes off slightly soggy. Few more minutes in the oven would've done it some good. Regardless, would recommend to a friend.

Best Margherita Pizza in town!

Decided to hang out in Shady Side today because I’m not as familiar with this neighborhood compared to some others in the Burgh. Decided to give this place a shot because of positive reviews online. First thing I noticed was how many awards this place has won for their gelato. I tried Pink Guava gelato and it was tremendous. The pizza however was not nearly as good. Easily the floppiest pizza I’ve had in 50+ pizza reviews. You couldn’t pick up a slice without olive oil and pizza sauce dripping off. There was also something off putting about the sauce. I’m not sure if it’s too tomatoey or what, but it wasn’t getting the job done. The highlight of the pizza is the crust. All in all the gelato is much better than the pizza here, but it is definitely worth the visit. This place actually made me feel like I was in Italy again, and that’s a cool feeling.

So good, and great people too.

Had a lot of box time coulda been higher really enjoyed it. Real light could easily eat two by myself, bit thick for the pie.

The second best Neapolitan I’ve had to Tony’s in SF. If soft and chewy is not for you than stay away. I enjoy all kinds of Pizza depending on quality. First rate ingredients / award winning pedigree, A+
