PSA before we get into this… My last account was recently banned, so I had to create a new one. I’m staying anonymous, but I will say I’m well known for my reviews and have built a very reputable name. I also used to live in Italy and Detroit — so trust me, I know ball.
This was certainly one of the better Detroit style pies I have had in my life. The dough was light and nice on the stomach but still held a nice chew that us premium dough fanatics look for. Mozz was portioned perfectly and had a nice flexible stretch. Crust was perfectly caramelized with an appropriately subtle undercarriage for a Detroit rectangle.
This review was mainly for the Red Pizza, but I do have to say the Lemon Zest Ricotta has placed itself in the running for best white pie I’ve encountered. Please try .
Highly suggest this place, but do keep in mind they close once they run out so arrive early.
Vodka Sauce, Fennal Sausage, Mozz: 8.4
Ricotta, Mozz, Lemon Zest, Olive Oil: 8.6 (super rare).
