Phenomenal pizza!

Love the vibes in there. The pizza - meh not really my style, but solid. Good sauce, nice and herby but this just doesn’t really feel like pizza to me. No crisp whatsoever, not even the crust, just pillowy, spongeyness

Mama Mia the sauce. That’s amore but would have love some crisp to it. Instead very soft and bready. The back of a Italian grocery locale keeps the rating up

Great slab, definitely suggest grabbing a fork & knife.

undercooked but solid taste

Hell has officially frozen over! I've been waiting for barstool to fix this app for over 3 months now, and was nearly at the point of investing in an iPhone because the Apple version never had any issues like the app from the Google store. I planned this Maine trip around this spot and Slab, as both of them made the 2020 Daily Meals top 101 pizza places in the country.  After eating at both, I'm convinced that Daily meals simply wanted to feature different styles of pizza and put them on the list because Slab style pizza is unlike anything else in the country.  I will say that Micucci was superior to Slab in everyway, and was one of the most unique pizza experiences I've ever had.  It was like biting into a giant pillow of pizza.  Almost comparable to a pizza version of angel food cake if that makes any sense.  Micucci makes fresh Pizzas at 11am and 3pm and cuts them into giant "slabs" that can be bought individually , and only makes fresh pies if given a 24 hour notice.   Mine had been sitting in a box on the counter in their location for over an hour by the time I got it, and was pretty much at room temperature.  Good sauce to cheese ratio and solid flavor throughout, but this style of pizza is not for me.

Micucci’s is serving up these huge squares they call “Slabs”. The dough couldn’t be softer, and I know that’s usually not a good thing in the pizza game but this slab was like a delicious cloud. So soft and tender. The sauce was spectacular. Slightly sweet, vibrant red, chunky, bursting with ripe tomato flavor. Zing!!!! Nothing stood out about the cheese but it was perfectly acceptable. It wasn’t greasy, or salty, and there was just the right amount of it. I absolutely loved this square.

If you want authentic slab Sicilian pizza this is the place to go. This isn’t your normal pizza. Each slice is huge and has the perfect Sicilian crust. Amazing pizza!

Great thick slab! Crust is soft and fluffy! Sauce is great! Highly recommend.

Delicious pizza, homemade sauce. Lots of cheese and well seasoned. Dough is awesome. Very different from traditional but worth it! 1/2 price after 5pm.

I would travel for this pizza. Solid 8.1. Sauce was sweet and the crust was buttery and crunchy.

What a giant treat it’s a big ass slab that is very good

Monster slab of Sicilian style pizza. Not for everyone as it is not fancy or football pizza. Dough is super soft with a mild but flavorful sauce. You can taste the quality of their craftsmanship just get there early when they run out they are done for the day. Usually by 2pm. Only a real hog of a human being could crush more than one slice of this but for $5 a slab that’s not a bad thing.

Wicked greasy, Dough is crazy soft, sauce is sweet. Good cheese and pepperoni. Good if ur in the mood for a sicilian slice.
