Modern Apizza

Modern Apizza! Another legendary spot in New Haven, CT…the pizza capital of the world. This spot is a combination of the Apizza style New Haven is known for and more of a traditional style. The crust was a little thicker than Sally’s or Pepes, but still not quite as thick as a traditional pie. It had a nice char on the crust which also had a little flop. There was a bit more cheese than I’d prefer, but that’s just my preference. The sauce was fresh and had nice flavor to it, I wish there was a little more of it though. I was really happy with this pie! The ratios were solid and it came out blazing hot and fairly quick. You certainly won’t be disappointed coming through here and it’s definitely a must if you’re a pizza lover! Some of the best I’ve had!
