If it weren’t for the sweet red sauce, this would be much higher. I wish they used a simple Bianca di Napoli style fresh tomato sauce vs this more marinara type sauce. The crust is very crispy and thin, but sauce is boss.

Well, I was not as impressed as I was hoping to be. Sweet sauce, okay crisp, chewy and semi-underwhelming. Looks bright and fresh. I could see it be a high 7 on a good day, but hard to picture an 8 or above. The place was a meticulous professional operation taking all aspects of their business seriously. Not a smashing hit for me.

Awesome! Up there with the best pizza I have ever had. Crispy, great sauce and very balanced. Nice people too. Will be back!

Half cheese and half pep with ricotta and hot honey. This pizza has zero flop, dough was light and airy, sauce wasn’t overpowering. Roni cups were crispy. This is prob the best pizza in Portland hands down

Vodka Mac and Cheese, is one of the most unique, thick, crunchy and flavorful pies. The regular cheese is fantastic as well. Would recommend to anyone who goes to the Portland area. My wife and I want to visit again before we leave.

Tomato sauce to die for. Unreal full flavour and a crunch for the ages.

Decided to pop into Monte's after watching Prez review it. If you're a local and enjoy cooking with or eating fresh, and interesting Italian products, you can't beat this spot! I spotted dozens of products I’d go back to give a shot. Ok, the pizza! In addition to the provided photo, I also got a traditional pepperoni. The 8.3 applies to the pictured pie and l'd give the pepperoni a 7.9! The sausage ricotta pie was incredible! Roman style pizza, which I'm a big fan of (New haven is my favorite style) and the crust is fantastic! Full of flavor, crispy undercarriage with a nice layer of softness, showing off amazing Roman style techniques. In place of sauce was ricotta and I LOVED this! I've never had a pie commit to ricotta so hard and honestly, more places should try this! Super flavorful with a nice texture. The splashes of fresh sauce were very welcome and had a beautiful flavor! The green drizzle was fantastic as well! Honestly, I would ask for this on the side every time I ordered pizza here haha! The sausage was flavorful and they did not skimp on it, which is always a plus! This might be my favorite spot in Portland! It's absolutely worth a visit! The website recommends calling ahead, which is what I did and found the pizza was ready exactly at the time I requested!

Super crust, very crispy. A touchy saucy but not unpleasant. Provolone was an interesting choice as a cheese addition, gave it a little tang but probably would have just gone full mozzarella. Definitely an artisanal pie, and at $22 for a 14”, while yummy, probably wouldn’t be my regular go-to pizza, but it’s a nice treat.

I’ve been home for about a week from Maine and I cannot stop thinking about this place. This is the best pizza I’ve had in my life, crispy but not ultra paper thin which is perfect. Absolutely perfect in every way. Please check this place out.

Awesome pizza & atmosphere! Tried the cheese & pepperoni & both were cooked to perfection. All ingredients were super fresh. Staff were very friendly as well.

Not bad, when have you had a good piece lately? 8.2, no prosciutto in house… fine foods.
