Legitimate Contender

Wanted to try this place out for a while since the scores were so high. All I gotta say is that it was disappointing. Ordered their traditional cheese pizza. Slices were mega floppy, cheese was greasy, and nothing really stood out flavor wise. The dough did taste fresh though. Gonna have to give it a 6.7. Maybe it’s better off you ask for extra crisp?

Nabruzzi Pizza

Avezzano on the right with a Tagliacozzo on the right. Saw this was the highest reviewed placed in north Tampa and was intrigued. The cheese and toppings are excellent. Nabruzzi does olive oil and not red sauce on all but one of their pizzas. I’m good with that personally, of course for a true review would need to get the classic that has the red sauce. Very solid taste on the toppings, cheese was good. The crust was what held this back a bit, it was just ok. Nothing in particular wrong just was a typical Florida crust. Overall very solid pizzas and would go back. I had a slight preference for the Tagliacozzo. 7.8 overall for both pizzas.

Ask for extra crispy if you like the crisp. Overall really good pizza.
