Good bar pizza ! Crust is the best part

Looking for a good pint and a great bar pie, come here and i guarantee you will be satisfied. Crispy pizza, great accompaniment to the beers on tap. Great texture, great taste, definitely would pop into this place whenever I was in the neighborhood. Staff is friendly and the vibes are on point.

Shitty Patsy’s Tavern. It’s like…you wanted Vans in 1986 and your mom got you Tom McAn’s version. Sorta look the same…but sucks.

Great pizza different style crust unreal the place is fantastic and great staff always keep you entertained only reason I’m not giving a perfect 10 is cause it’s 5000 miles away form me love ye guys hop to be back soon

Iconic pizza served for decades in a hole in the wall. Crispy buttery crust, lots of garlic.

Hard to do a review on a style you're less of a fan of. I liked it. I loved the spot. But I'd easily take most New York style pizza over bar pie. It's got a flaky, pie-like crust, light on sauce, heavier on cheese, salty pepperoni, but it's floppy half the way through. Surprising that this is a 25 minute bake. You may be waiting a bit for your pizza. While I kinda like the pie-style crust, I feel like there's no a great excuse for it being so floppy. We specifically asked for it well done. Also felt besides the saltiness of the pepperoni, it's underseasoned. I also got the small Calabrese (Sausage/Peppers/Onions) feel like that should be have green and/or spicy peppers and more fennel and oregano with that name. They sell in 12" and 14". I would've ordered a plain to judge them, but it doesn't feel like that's what you order here. Topping heavy pizza, wings, bar food should be your go-to and enjoying the atmosphere.

This is almost a mirror image of Nanuet Restaurant pizza; the size, taste & texture is practically identical with the exception of a more dessert pie-like crust & an abundance of spices atop the cheese on the Hotel pie. The dough is very similar aside from the semolina bread crumbs underneath to prevent moisture buildup, keeping the pizza firm and dry. This pie actually bears a striking resemblance to Patsy’s Tavern pizza in Paterson, NJ with the dessert pie-like crust and shallow pan pizza style. Considered to be a bar pie only in size really; it’s neither thin nor crispy like standard bar pies. The dough is flakey, light & slightly tastier than Nanuet Restaurant pizza. The cheese is similar to thick Greek style that blankets the dough but is well seasoned for added flavor. The sauce is light, not very thick, tasty but not super flavorful. Overall, this is more of a tavern style pizza pie, emphasis on the “pie.” 🥧 Not particularly my style in either taste or texture, but it’s not bad. This joint is actually really cool inside and worth checking out if you’re in the area; just don’t expect much from their pizza. A notch better than Nanuet Restaurant pizza but neither one floats my boat.

Quite an interesting old-school establishment, with a unique pizza style to match. Similar to pie crust in taste and texture, with a flavorful mix of sauce, spices and cheese on top. Crust was floppy toward the center, and I’d enjoy more if well done.

Personal Cheese. Honestly overrated with a Chuck E. Cheese feel. One and done.

Best pizza there is. I use Nanuet Hotel Pizza as the measuring stone for all other pizzas. Few can compare. Crispy thin crust pizza with the cheese and sauce that goes all the way to the edge of the crust. It’s the BEST.

Kinda greasy, food undercarriage and not much flop

Had a little flop and a lot of grease but the flavors, and crust, were delicious!!

Homey feel to the restaurant. Reminds me of my childhood, makes sense, I was with my father and ordered a root beer. The crust is like pie crust. Order it well done, when the bottom is crispy it’s done right. Plenty of topics, old school Rockland staple.

A little bit of a disappointment but only because I had high hopes. It's overall not a bad pie but not worth the travel. it reminds me of Patsy's(8.8 my score) but alot floppier more greasy and not as tasty plus nearly double the distance. I'll give it a 7.3

Decent pie, didn't blow me away but still good.
