Doughy pizza. Have napkins on hand

Not bad, no flop. A little thick. Sauce doesn’t taste like anything. Peroni was expired and skunked.

Not for me. Pizzas crust is soft and floppy with no flacor. The taste was almost all sauce. Its a no from me dawg

Super floppy, super greasy but it’s not the worst pizza I’ve had!

New York Pizzeria is the go to pizza joint if you live within a 30 mile radius of Gouvy. Not my first time having it. Nonetheless, NYP is very hit or miss. It’s your average New York slice or what you’d expect in a New York style pizza, dripping with grease. Nice crunch to it. However it’s a very average tasting pizza. Pepperoni has a heavy taste to it. Kind of reminiscent to Sbarros. Cheese was its redeeming quality. Cheese to sauce ratio is more leaning on the cheese side. Can’t really taste much sauce. The dough is also really good. Solid flavor. When comparing it to Dashnaws which I just recently tried for the first time. I think Dashnaws makes the better pizza in all honesty. Good, not great, definitely not mind blowing.

On my way home from the Adirondack region and to my surprise, I haven’t rated it until now. Pickup window is in the back, interesting how it’s literally next door to an apartment building. The pizza itself is pretty good, let’s break it down. The cheese was literally 30 seconds away from being cooked fully but it was warm so the flavor was still there. The dough is great! Nice and crispy throughout with a light and airy crust. The sauce is light and lacked any flavor. It’s fresh but spread too thin.

Decent tang on the sauce, but overall mediocre. Way too much flop and oily. Wouldn’t go out of your way unless you are hungry and in the neighborhood.
