Classic NY slice for a solid price. Great crust and perfect amount of cheese

OK. Staying in Hell‘s kitchen along the pizza belt we have Sal New York pizza... it’s a little hole in the wall it almost looks like a converted $.99 Pizza joint. Extremely no-frills and quite scary looking inside. But I’m not eating the wall, I’m eating the pizza... so on to the review. A little surprised that Prez put this in the seven range. Very generic slice as I stated in an earlier review about Hell’s Kitchen pizza joints... although the Dough has a crispness to it I wasn’t enthralled with the taste... the cheese was pretty good but there was also a lack of sauce and flavor to the slice... it may seem like I’m bashing up it was definetly a decent slice. You won’t spit it out in a pail but you also can walk into 100 more just like it.... 6.5 that’s the review

Tried a Sicilian, regular cheese and pepperoni. All great but the pepperoni was my favorite! Great sauce on this Zaa

It maintains authentic New York style, but with a little extra sauce. I like that.

Very forgettable slices. The grandma was better than the regular, but the sauce had no real taste and the cheese was very stringy

Decent. Lacking taste. Good crust & bottom. Needs better quality cheese. I believe it was yesterday’s pie reheated. Had that second day oven smell.
