Old Scratch Pizza

Old scratch has a special place in my heart, for it being “Midwestern Neapolitan” pizza. The cheese is flavorful and tasty, has the perfect cheese taste I personally would take for a Neapolitan Pizza. However, there was hardly any sauce and i’m a huge guy for the sauce so it’s an average score on my book. It had decent flop but usually the crust is crunchier with better crust. But also it was a busy night so I understand if it was rushed. But for this great of a pizza it can be better and the quality control can be fixed. I give it a solid 7.9.

Really solid pizza I recommend anyone to try if they ever are in the area. Great undercarriage, flop varies from pie to pie. Cheese is great and the sauce is even better.

Wood fired pizza in Dayton, Ohio. It’s on the lighter side. Crust has a Neapolitan taste and feel. Sauce is on the sweeter side.

Needed more cheese and sauce. Light and easy eater. Dough and crust was fresh.

Angry Beekeeper is quite tasty. Middle of pizza was a bit thin leading to some floppage. Will be back.

Gets a 10 for presentation! The sauce and cheese tasted real and fresh. Too floppy greasy and underdone. Needed just a little something to add more flavor.

This was the Troy Ohio location, not on the app. We got a shorty to try and it felt under done and underwhelming. The flavor was plentiful but not exactly what I am looking for, the crust was a 7 but the pepperoni/cheese flavor was more of a 5. Overall very edible but nothing to write home about
