Palazzo Di Pizza

I’ve had Palazzo a few times by now and to be honest the first time about 6 months ago (before I had this app) it was at least a 9 and probably the best pizza I had ever had.. ever… I’ve had it since then and each time I’ve said I am going to skip the review this time for next time.. thinking I could recapture the first time… well it hasn’t happened.. I’m scoring it a 7.4 based on the first experience because all other visits combined have been maybe a 7.. I wanted it to be a thing for me to say I’ve had the best Detroit style pizza in metro Detroit but honestly.. it’s just not.. sad to say.. it’s just not.

First time experiencing Detroit style pizza and it did not disappoint. The flavors were fantastic and the crisp edges were great. Could be better with slightly crispier undercarriage but overall solid slice!

Unbelievably good. Thick but light and crispy. Ask for extra sauce on half. If u like it crispy get a small cuz you get 4 corner slices

Light, thick, great taste for Detroit style.

Visiting from out of town on work travel and so happy I landed on this spot. Unbelievable Detroit style pizza.

In terms of Detroit style pizza, Palazzo is the GOAT with Loui's coming in 2nd, Buddy's 3rd. Pay no mind to Dave's review as he is biased towards only one style of pizza. It's take out only, it's worth an hour+ drive to get here.

Sauce is a little sweet. Great crust.

Solid Detroit style pizza. Crust is good. Crispy edge is very good. Sauce is nicely zesty. Spicy pepperoni has a good kick.

Palazzo… they have a solid Detroit-style pizza! I loved the sauce on top and I appreciated the crisp edges… The pepperoni lacked flavor, but overall it was a good pizza. 7.4/10. That is all.

Found it to be too doughy, not a lot of taste or crisp. Detroit Style Pizza Company in St. Clair Shores is still the best in my book.

Incredible pie. Detroit style deep dish. I got the cheese, the sauce comes on top. Phenomenal crisp, all pieces are corner pieces. Just fantastic all around.

Vegan pizza was solid, comparable to buddys, not enough sauce though but great flavor. 8.2. Pictured is pepperoni pizza, was really good. (Wife gave it a 8.5) great sauce, crust and cheese!

if any place deserves a 10 it’s this place. absolutely outstanding detroit style pizza. this is the best pizza i’ve ever had. it’s baked to perfection and the sauce is hands down the best sauce i’ve ever had. you can put it on anything and it would taste good.
