Passalinqua's Pizzeria

Visually, this is a home run! But it doesn’t quite live up to how good it looks, unfortunately. I know a lot of folks talk this place up but for whatever reason, it just doesn’t really do it for me and I wonder why I can’t see what they all see here. The dough is very good, but fairly floppy in the middle, not much crisp at all. The pepperoni is probably the highlight here (those are plenty crispy) and the cheese is about as average as you can expect. Totally fine. The sauce (which I believe is made in-house) really drags this down and that’s a real darn shame because there’s a lot of it. I’m sure it’s great on a pasta but I’m not digging it on this pizza. Sprinkling some herbs on this was a nice touch from them, though. Overall, it’s a meh from me.
