Patxi's Pizza

One of my favorite Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza’s that I’ve had. If you’re in the mood for this style, definitely hit this place up if you’re in Santa Barbara. Highly recommend drizzling the honey over the pizza.

Crust was way to rubbery. Not enough sauce. Pepperoni had zero flavour. Only reason it’s in the 5’s is due to the smokey flavouring of the cheese.

Solid deep dish pizza, great service.

Taking a half point off because the crust was not quite crisp enough. Good Chicago style pie.

Deeeep dish, Chicago, and a little bit fancy. Heavy lifting. Flop? Forget about flop, this is a fork and knife pizza. Deep dish isn’t my go-to pie but this is a quality product. Fresh tomato sauce, high-quality cheese (enough to joke a horse, or yourself if you’re not careful). The crust is buttery and flaky and you see why they give you honey to dip the crust in—the crust is basically dessert. The quality of the ingredients and ambience of the restaurant could make it a good date spot if the pizza wasn’t so damn heavy (they have thin crust too but I didn’t try it). Looking for deep dish but can’t get to Chicago? This is your pie. The ultimate Fat Boy fancy pizza.

Chicago style. Filling. Cheese, crust, and sauce were OK.
