Very solid they load up the toppings. Their signature burnt cheese back crust is really good. Perhaps a little doughy and could maybe use a little more cheese. The sauce is very good.

Definition of a Chicago style pizza, deep dish on point, served in piping hot pan, cheese, bread, and sauce to perfection. Would definitely recommend to any one looking for Chicago pizza.

It was good pizza. It’s very doughy but the sausage was amazing. The sauce was a great flavor. It definitely is a great pizza the day after.

I didn’t know this was the original location. From what I can tell, you get a better pizza consistently here than the Clybourn location. Loved it! Not overdone, great sausage, perfectly melded flavors, and a surpringly fluffier crust.

Awesome caramelized crust. Good quality toppings and sufficient amount of sauce. Burt’s might have the slight edge on the crust, but Pequod’s wins all other categories.
