Amazing pizza!

Thicker and a lot less crispy than I was expecting. Zesty sauce, and good cheese and quality sausage. According to the locals, you can’t just get plain cheese, topping is necessary. Still very good.

Great pizza, did not disappoint. Old school place that still serves their pizza in a bag, love it. Absolutely correct ratio of ingredients and the sausage has just the correct amount of fennel. When going to a Sox game this place is a MUST stop, just blocks away.

Not cracker crust. Gobs of tasty sausage. Dough could use a little seasoning, kinda bland.

Chicago staple! It's one of the better Chicago pizzas. Zero flop, beautiful undercarriage, heaped with sausage and onions. Thanks again Phil's!

Unfortunately, underrated but Phils Pizza is by far one of the best pizza joints in Chicago hands-down, highly recommend to try it if you haven’t and if you’re curious to know what kind of pizza I have in the picture it’s . Italian beef with Gardiniera peppers, extra cheese, well done. 🔥🔥🔥

This is hands down the best pizza you can get on the south side aside from Vito & Nicks! Phil’s is an easy contender! Absolute classic Chicago pizza right here!🤤

This northsider came along way to try the southside pizza. The results were sort of mixed. First of all I don’t like cheese on top of my sausage (that’s what he said!). Prefer sausage pieces to be on top of the cheese. Also there seems to be an in ordinate amount of grease. Some is to be expected but this probably had more than I care for. However there’s no denying the taste of the sauce is outstanding, and the Italian sausage, drowning in cheese, is still nevertheless very tasty. I wanted to love it, instead I sort of like it.

Best pizza of all time

The best pizza in Chicago. I know pres only orders it as is but you have to order well done because they have so many orders they’re trying to get them out. Rookie move to not order well done. Plus it opens at 4pm & only takes cash.

Solid ‘za, not sure why it’s included on tavern style lists, as it’s a “thicker” style thin crust.

Solid pizza. Right amount of cheese. Sauce is a little sweet.

Just amazing. Great sauce, sausage was juicy and flavorful. Great crust. Can’t do much better than this.
