Pizza Como USA Num-9

I usually order in person and wait. However, this joint is close to home so I ordered online and picked it up. The time for pickup I was seemed later than needed. I went there 15 mins before that time and my pizza had been sitting there. That being said, I’m not sure how long it was setting there. I took my first bite as soon as I got into my truck. It was not hot like it just came out of the oven so there was very little flop. The crust is doughy and heavy with semolina which creates a heavy grit sandpaper texture. It gives the crust some extra crisp. The sauce is average, there is a good amount of cheese. A little greasy but did not make for a slurpable pizza. This pie let me down a bit as this was my favorite place. I typically would order the jumbo size which was always wonderful! Overall, this is a good pie to enjoy with a beer and watch some football! I will need to re-score this when I get one fresh out of the oven.

Good slice, nice crunch, good amount of sauce, Top of the pizza or the cheese looked under done but wasn’t. Definitely surprised how good it was.

Cheese pizza had little grease, no flop, crispy crust and undercarriage. Overall great flavor. Sicilian was amazing as well. Can’t complain about either pie.

Overall solid slice. Little bit of flop but had a nice sauce to cheese ratio. Crust was a little doughy but great pizza for any occasion. Wedding, birthday, funeral, Groundhogs Day, you name it!

Traditional Lehigh valley floppy pie, with a little crisp. Our area certainly has a standard style, since very few people have wood burning pizza ovens, let alone coal. Leaving most ovens as typical electric or gas. Nice taste and a decent pie for a Saturday night, party or to feed the kids. A 7.2 for me is a high score, so basically this is my go to pizza shop near home. If I lived further away, I can’t say I would make a trip for it. All and all it’s a solid 7.2.

Had this pizza before and was much better but today they did not put there best foot forward! I give it a 6.9
