Good crust, not enough sauce. Cheese is a bit bland.

OK, here. We are on a beautiful Friday. St. Patrick’s Day weekend. A Friday in Lent. So no meat. Now I’m not sure how I missed this place. It’s in White Plains, and I thought I hit them all. But to my surprise, I didn’t. Now I have to say, the slices are massive, that being said, they look a little floppy, and a little undercooked. I hope I’m wrong, but let’s get into it now. St. Patrick’s Day party tomorrow. And unfortunately, I was right. Both slices are a sloppy mess. I’m hoping this was a one off. But they’re almost in edible. Very much undercooked, and you could barely pick them up. I’m not sure how you mess it up that bad. Wannabes? Maybe. And I hate to do this, but come on now. With the name like pizza Cucina. You gotta be better. I mean, if these were crispy, and cooked the proper way. I’m sure they would be much better. But I have to go with what I know.

Taste better than it looks, crispy

Overall not bad, I used to work a block away so I owed this spot another visit. Plain slice 6.5 , decent sauce, decent thin airy crust, only downside is floppy tip Buffalo slice 6.7, not the best one I ever had, Buffalo sauce had little spice, chicken was a little too rubbery, and the flop is here too. Bonus points for adding blue cheese on top, I normally love Buffalo chicken pizza, and love it even more with blue cheese on top. Not bad, but not worth going out of the way for.

Decent crust but very dry. The other slices with toppings looked better, particularly the eggplant slice. Sauce was odd — almost tasted like Chinese food.

Very floppy in the middle while the edges have the crunch. Tomatoes add a good bite. Grease overpowers the flavor a bit

Sauce and bread quality aren’t terrible, structure texture and cheese are forgettable

Apologize in advance for the picture quality. I hate this whole sun going down early bullshit making me have to take shot in the dark. Plus I basically ate nothing all day so I couldn’t help myself but say “dig in” stuffing my face immediately leaving the joint prez style. So I gotta say, I’ve had this place before and was underwhelmed. BUT this time around was different. The slice didn’t look like it was sitting all day. Absolutely no flop. Nice and crispy first bite and crust. Sauce is eh, cheese is plain ole cheese, and a little too greasy for my taste. I like oregano, not too much oregano, this has oregano, this falls just under the brink of too much oregano. 7.2
