Pizzeoli Wood Fired Pizza

Was looking forward to this place, cool vibe inside, cool spot in STL waiter was good, toppings nice as well but the crust just let the pizza down, big time flop, thinking wood fired oven was not up to temp .

Definitely some flop, not quite the airy crust I would expect. Overall not too bad, sauce has nice flavor and little spice to pepperoni.

This is the best pizza in St. Louis. If you argue that then you’re probably south city trash that was raised with Busch Light in your sippy cup and brainwashed to believe that Imo’s is good.

My first time having neapolitan pizza and it's different. But it's good for a first date not for Super Bowl.

Pizza was not cooked all the way. Very floppy, wet center, and very doughy. The ingredients tasted fresh and good. I’m sure it would have been a great pizza if cooked all the way.

Really good Neapolitan pizza. The crust is light. The fresh mozzarella is fantastic and you can tell all the ingredients are fresh.

I ate here and completely forgot about the app until I walked out. The pizza here is a joke. They advertise for wood oven pizza which is typically great. The thing they don't tell you is it's vegan pizza.....VEGAN PIZZA. Being the open mind I am I gave it a shot. Just aweful. First of all, you couldn't even pick up because it was covered in a oil/grease thing. This caused the pizza to not be crisp and was more of a squishy pile of cardboard with "sausage" of the vegan variety. This sasuage was the texture of chewy calamari with the taste of fake meat soaked dirt. If you like good pizza, don't go here. If you're trying to impress your vegan friends, don't go here either. That's how terrible it was! The .9 is for service and atmosphere which I usually account for. If the pizza itself wasn't so offensively bad I would have given it a 3 because it was nice in there. Excellent sauce, a little flop, would have liked the crust to be thinner on the edges. However great flavor and decent crunch. Very good pizza.
