Pizza was nice and crispy the only bad thing was it was a little too greasy for me but overall was a great pizza

Crisp is out of this world. Friendly owner. Ferments dough 3 days and it shows. Cheese is solid. Has a zip to it. Pep is def a good import. Best so far in Lancaster Co. Give him some biz.

Best crust in the county. Sauce is lacking that little something. The parm also takes away from the overall pie. One of the best in Lancaster, but could be better.

This is the new benchmark for Detroit pizza!! But it shouldn’t come as a surprise especially if you’ve been following along my journey from the beginning. The owner of this place has cut his teeth in Philly with some of the best including the famed pizza gutt that would go on to be circles and squares, a pie at that time I had proclaimed the greatest pizza I’ve ever eaten and to this day I still bring it up and this square is so reminiscent of that hallowed night. The outer edges of this pizza are a work of art perfectly caramelized edges and a great crunch on all exterior surfaces. The interior is freakishly light and airy compressing with every bite and blanketed by a f**k ton of what I assume is a brick cheese that fused to the dough and covered by a sauce that is identical from what I remember at the Philly spot, so rich and vibrant with a massive bombing of my favorite grated cheese grana padano and the lifestyle topping of choice roni cups. What these guys are doing here is unmatched and I really hope word gets out about the spot cuz it truly is one of the best spots in the country for this style and their other pies look very sharp. Take the trip down here I promise you’ll never forget this pie!!! Also a quick briefing in my scoring and shout out to personal blogs, if a pie delivers on its expectations and is a quality product there’s no reason it doesn’t deserve hi marks, even if it’s not my style I can appreciate the craft that goes into making elite level pizza. We got the 222 special , which is half pepperoni 1/2 cheese. I would def just get all cheese next time. So much grease from the pepperoni. It’s super thin and crispy like I like. Almost too thin, like a cracker. It was good pie

I eat pizza like maybe 3 times a year. That might change after tasting this pizza!! Insanely good

A little too crispy, and too little sauce for me. Aside from the huge bubbles, a decent pie but a bit pricey for the quality.

I thought this pizza was excellent. My best friend since preschool was getting married in downtown Lancaster, and I quickly identified as a place I had to try before leaving. The owner came from Philly and started his own place in downtown Lancaster a couple years ago. The pizza is nice and thin and could not have been cooked any better. The undercarriage was perfect and consistent the entire way. The cheese to sauce ratio was spot on was well. The crust was also delicious. You could taste the high quality pizza oven it was cooked in eating the crust. We easily are the entire thing, and I contiplated getting a Detroit slice to go for the ride back to Pittsburgh. My girlfriend had three slices without ranch, she never eats pizza without ranch. That should be all you need to hear to try this place.

Well well well. It was the previous reviews that peaked my curiosity. Cause you see what they all say, best pizza “around here”; let’s face it, Central Pa does lack for the traditional thin crust NY Style. People claim to be NY Style, but, uh, even thin doesn’t equate to NY Style. What owner Matt has done here has come up with a heck of a pizza pie. Tasty, crispy thin crust, with exactly the right amount I’d cheese to sauce. He’s a Philly area guy who has brought some good pizza among skills to Lancaster Pa. I dig the pizza, and I like his approach. Hard working, appears to make sure each pizza is made with TLC as to not disappoint. I took alot of time on this review. 2 days to be exact. Overall, it’s really good. I was teeter-tottering in the 8.8 range. Came to the conclusion next time I will go for a plain pie, no pep. 🚫🍕And I will kindly ask that the shredded Parmesan cheese not be put in the pizza. I think it took a .3199901 off the score. It had a subtle, very subtle, Parmesan Cheese little tasty thing going on and to me, took a little bit away from the mozzarella. But shit, just look at that picture——there ain’t no pizza within 40 miles of here that looks like that. Or tastes like it even. It’s worth the ride and you’ll like the South Market in Lancaster ~ it’s a cool spot if you’ve never been.

Great crisp, great pie, nice and thin. Exactly what you need coming outta Lancaster. Don’t call it greasy if you ordered pepperoni dummies. If you don’t like this you prob door dash dominos like a slob. Eat here. Call Portnoy get us on the map.

Barely any flop, light and crisp. A strong contender for best in Lancaster. Definitely worth the try.

Nice crispy and thin pizza on their regular slice (8.1), like a New York slice. It’s about time someone can make real pizza, quite tasty. Their thick slice is good but not as good as their regular at 7.6.

A thin and crispy pizza in Lancaster… finally! A little bit more sauce probably would’ve brought this to an 8.1. Great flavor!
